Arlyn J. Bossenbrook

Attorney Arlyn J. Bossenbrook specializes in living trust-based estate planning, federal estate tax planning, special needs trusts, and irrevocable life insurance, gift, and charitable remainder trusts.  Arlyn values personalized and comprehensive planning that meets the individual needs, goals, and dreams of his clients.  His living trust-based estate plans focus on incapacity planning, avoidance of probate, elimination of federal estate taxes, and legacy planning to provide his clients with an all-encompassing plan to preserve privacy and protect wealth.  Arlyn also provides services to his clients and their families that continue the relationship, including family meetings, legacy planning, and trust administration.
 
Arlyn attained a Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College in 1964 and a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in 1967. Arlyn has been a practicing attorney in the State of Michigan since 1968.
 Arlyn is a founding member of WealthCounsel LLC, an active member of the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council, the Mid-Michigan Chapter Financial Planning Association, and the Mid-Michigan Planning Giving Council, and serves on the Attorney Disciplinary Board Committee for the State of Bar of Michigan.  He also actively participates in his community through the Meals on Wheels Program and provides free legal services through the Cristo Rey Community Center.  He also networks with fellow WealthCounsel Michigan attorneys to continually improve the estate and legacy planning services they provide to their communities.

Beyond the office, Arlyn is involved with the Enduring Gifts Committee through River Terrace Christian Reformed Church.  Arlyn enjoys spending time attending MSU basketball games and his grandchildren’s sporting events.  He is the proud father of two children, Amy and Mark, and five grandchildren, Emily, Lauren, Mitchell, Tommy, and Maya.  Arlyn and his wife Eunice regularly visit their family cottage in South Haven and enjoy the Blueberry Festival and local farmer’s market.




 
Katrina N. Hofstetter

Katrina is a highly motivated legal and financial professional who has served in many capacities with the firm since 2006.  Katrina is integrally involved with all of our processes and the operation of the firm, and specifically works closely with our clients to provide exceptional trust funding services and detailed follow-up.  She enjoys developing strong relationships with our clients and hearing their family stories, which she in turn uses when working with Arlyn to help create a personalized plan for each family.

Katrina received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Ferris State University and is currently working on her Juris Doctor degree at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.  Katrina is married to Ryan and they have two sons, Rowen is 5 and attends Lansing Christian School and Carsten who was born in January of 2017.  The Hofstetter family also has a Scottish Terrier named Brodie.  As a family, they are involved in numerous church activities and enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting northern Michigan, Potter Park Zoo & Impression 5.
